Maria Araguz has been living in Nashville since 1994. She has a family of six girls and in 2009 her family lost their home due to foreclosure. She was able to purchase another house in 2013, this time with the help of many community resources. She hopes her story will inspire others to educate themselves about different housing programs in Nashville, especially the Latino community because she feels that is a community that is less aware of the importance of a sustainable home.
